About ILEA Rhode Island
Founded in 2002, the ILEA Rhode Island Chapter brings together event professionals committed to elevating the industry through education, collaboration, and innovation. What began as a passionate grassroots effort quickly grew into an official chapter, sustained by the dedication of its members, leaders, and volunteers.

A global community, built for event professionals
ILEA is the leading global association for creative event professionals—bringing together the people behind the world’s most impactful live experiences.
Founded in 1987, ILEA connects event planners, producers, designers, venues, food and beverage professionals, and industry partners across disciplines and sectors, all united by a shared commitment to collaboration, innovation, and raising the standard of what events can achieve.
ILEA empowers its members to learn from one another, exchange ideas, and deliver more meaningful, memorable work. Today, more than 2,000 members across 35 countries and 30 chapters are shaping the future of live events—and there’s a place for you in it.
